Lancers Announce Second Round Playoff Schedule

OMAHA, Neb. - The Omaha Lancers of the United States Hockey League (USHL) are pleased to announce that their Western Conference Semifinals series with the Waterloo Black Hawks will begin with Games 1 and 2 at the Omaha Civic Auditorium this Friday, April 20 and Saturday, April 21. Both games will begin at 7:05 PM CDT. Omaha's second round opponent was determined last night when Waterloo completed a two-game sweep in its best-of-three Quarterfinals match-up with the Tri-City Storm.

The best-of-five series then shifts to the Young Arena for Game 3 Friday, April 27 with a potential Game 4 also in Waterloo on Saturday, April 28. If needed, a decisive Game 5 would be held back at the Civic Auditorium on Sunday, April 29. Please find below a complete breakdown of the Western Conference Semifinals schedule.

Tickets for Games 1 and 2 are currently on sale and can be purchased at the CenturyLink Center Box Office Monday - Friday, 10 AM - 6 PM, at the Omaha Civic Auditorium Box Office on Friday and Saturday only beginning at 10 AM or through www.ticketmaster.com .

A complete preview of the Western Conference Semifinals will be released tomorrow.

Omaha (38-19-3, 79 Pts.) finished second overall in the Western Conference during the regular year and is returning to the Clark Cup Playoffs for the 23rd consecutive season. The Lancers will be practicing at the Civic Auditorium today and tomorrow at 3 PM and will conduct a brief morning skate at 10 AM Friday prior to Game 1.
