2012 OHL Priority Selection
The 2012 OHL Priority Selection was held on Saturday April 7th . The Storm selected 9 Forwards, 4 Defencemen and 1 Goaltender. Selecting 6th overall, Guelph chose Robby Fabbri from the Mississauga Rebels. Fabbri has been compared to Storm alumni and current New York Rangers Captain, Ryan Callahan. In the Second round, the team selected defenceman Kyle Locke from the York Simcoe Express, who scouts compared to former Storm all-star Ryan Parent. Selected 49th overall in this year's priority selection, Matthew Mancina was the lone goaltender selected by the Storm this year.
