Saginaw Falls to London 5-2

On Wednesday night the Spirit traveled back to The Dow Event Center for game four of the second round series. The Spirit would fall to the Knights by the score of 5-2. Vince Trocheck scored both goals for the Spirit.

London would get the scoring started in the first period. At the 2:18 mark, Josh Anderson would score on a wrist shot to give London a 1-0 lead. Chris Tierney and Bo Horvat would assist the goal. Moments later Austin Watson would score to extend the lead to 2-0. Tyler Ferry would get credit for assisting the shot. 6:27 in the period, Vladislav Namestnikov would score for the Knights to take a 3-0 lead over the Spirit. Seth Griffith and Tierney would assist the shot. 19:15 in the period, Matt Rupert would score for the Knights. Maatta and Tierney would assist the shot. Spirit would have 8 shots while London would have 16 shots to end the opening period.

1:18 in the second period, Vincent Trocheck would take a shot from the blue line and land himself a power play goal. Josh Shalla and Brad Walch would assist the shot. 13:43 in the period, Trocheck would once again score, his second goal of the game to get the Spirit to within two goals of the Knights. Brad Walch and Josh Shalla would once again assist the shot.

The final period saw no scoring either way until18:36 in the period Greg McKegg would score on Saginaw's empty net goal. London would go on to defeat Saginaw by the score of 5-2.
