Bulldogs to Honour Mohawk College Basketball

HAMILTON, ON - The Hamilton Bulldogs announced today that the 2011 Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association Championship-winning Mohawk College Men's Basketball team would be honoured prior to Saturday's home game against the Rochester Americans.

The Mohawk College Mountaineers won their first ever Championship Gold on Saturday, March 17th, 2012 following an 88-73 victory over Calgary's Mount Royal University Cougars in Truro, Nova Scotia. About 16 players and coaches from the championship team will be in attendance at Copps Coliseum on Saturday for First Ontario Night. Player of the game Aminu Bello, who led the team with 32 points in his final college career game, and Manny Campbell, who was named to the Championship's First All-Star team, will be performing the ceremonial puck drop at 7 p.m.

The Bulldogs take on the Oklahoma City Barons TONIGHT, Tuesday, April 3rd, 2012 at 8 p.m. ET at Cox Convention Center. All Hamilton Bulldogs games can be heard live on AM 820 CHAM or on hamiltonbulldogs.com, or seen live on ahllive.com, beginning with the Pioneer Pre-Game Show 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time
