Club de Foot Montreal News Release
SAINT-ROMUALD - In collaboration with the Juvénat Notre-Dame and the Chaudière-West soccer association, the Montreal Impact announced on Monday that the club will be conducting a youth soccer camp during spring break in Quebec City for the first time ever.
The camp will be held on March 7, 8 and 9, at the new Juvénat Notre-Dame sports complex, and is open to players aged 8 to 15 from the Quebec and Chaudière-Appalaches regions.
An important participant in the development of youth soccer in the Quebec area, the Juvénat Notre-Dame du Saint-Laurent will play host to the Montreal Impact Soccer Schools in order to help players adept at playing the beautiful game benefit from the expertise of the Academy's technical staff, who are at the helm of developing future professionals for the club.
"We are very pleased to be able to offer a soccer camp during spring break in Quebec," said Olivier Brett, director of the Impact Soccer Schools. "Not only is this a first for the Soccer Schools, but it will also be the most complete program offered to young players so far. The Juvénat's infrastructure will help us apply more themes in three days than we sometimes do in a month. We will use training methods that will accelerate learning, which will also help the kids retain more of what they learn."
In a friendly and fun-filled environment, with learning and development in mind, young players will not only work with the ball, but will also take part in athletic and motor skill development sessions, as well as mental strength exercises.
Each participant will receive a ball and a t-shirt. There will also be many prizes given away for those in attendance. For more information or to register at a cost of $160 (plus taxes), please visit the Impact Soccer School's site at: edsimpactmontreal.com.
