San Antonio Rampage News Release
SAN ANTONIO (February 2, 2012) - The San Antonio Rampage announced that their second annual Pink in the Rink Night, presented by Cancer Therapy & Research Center, is sold out. A limited number of standing room only tickets remain as the Rampage anticipate setting a franchise attendance record with 15,638 fans tomorrow night at the AT&T Center.
The game will be televised on FOX Sports Southwest with Rampage play-by-play broadcaster Dan Weiss and Spurs television host and in-game reporter Andrew Monaco calling the action live from the AT&T Center.
The Rampage will skate on pink ice tomorrow night as they host the Lake Erie Monsters at 7 p.m. at the AT&T Center. Last season, the team set a franchise attendance record as 14,339 fans watched the Rampage claim a 4-1 victory over the Chicago Wolves on pink ice for the first time in AT&T Center history.
The team will wear pink-themed jerseys that will be auctioned off to the public immediately following the game along with pink ties autographed by Spurs head coach Greg Popovich and Spurs television broadcast team Sean Elliott and Bill Land. In addition, the Rampage will also auction off an autographed pink-themed jersey worn by the Spurs Coyote. A portion of the proceeds from the auction and ticket sales will benefit the San Antonio Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure(r). The Rampage raised $25,000 from their first Pink in the Rink event last season to benefit Komen San Antonio.
Friday's game features a KZEP Dollar Drink Night in which fans can get draft beer and fountain soda for only $1. The Rampage will also host a concert by Eddie and the Boozers during both intermissions and postgame on the Bud Light Courtyard.
