Norfolk Admirals News Release
NORFOLK, Va. - Coming on the heels of an exciting week of hockey at Scope and the all-star break, the Norfolk Admirals will drop the puck on a three-game road trip tomorrow night.
Last Tuesday night, the Admirals dropped a 4-2 decision to the Charlotte Checkers despite goals by Philip-Michael Devos and Eric Neilson. On Friday night in front of 7,414 fans at Scope, Carter Ashton notched his 17th goal of the season and Pierre-Cedric Labrie scored the game-winning goal in the third period, as the Admirals defeated the Hershey Bears, 2-1. The following night in front of a sellout crowd, the Admirals scored a goal in each of the first two periods, but could not answer a third period goal by the Bears as they fell, 3-2.
The Admirals return to action with three games in three nights, beginning tomorrow night in Glens Falls, New York, for a meeting with the Adirondack Phantoms. Norfolk will then travel to Springfield, Massachusetts, for matchups on Saturday night and Sunday afternoon as they faceoff against the Falcons.
