Stampede Acquire Chris Davis

BOISE, Idaho, January 24, 2012 - The Idaho Stampede have acquired guard Chris Davis (6-3, 185, Southern) in a trade with the Reno Bighorns. Davis has been acquired in exchange for guard Eric Devendorf.

Davis is averaging 6.1 points, 1.9 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 15 games (two starts) this season with Reno. Davis played with the Bighorns since 2009, playing 88 games in his career in the NBA Development League (three starts) - his career averages are 4.2 points, 1.7 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 12.5 minutes per game.

Born on January 26, 1986, Davis was the seventh round pick (103rd overall) in the 2009 NBA Development League Draft. The Baton Rouge, LA native played for the Chicago Bulls in the 2009 NBA Summer League and in his senior season at Southern University was named to the All-SWAC third team.
