Kelowna Rockets News Release

The Everett Silvertips defeated the Kelowna Rockets 3-2 Wednesday night in Kelowna in the back half of a Western Hockey League home and home series between the two teams.

Three nights after Kelowna beat the Silvertips in Everett, the Tips were able to turn the trick in Kelowna, jumping out to a 3-1 lead and holding on for a 3-2 win.

Manraj Hayer, Kevin Bauml and Nick Walters scored for Everett.

Goalie Adam Brown took the loss in net for Kelowna but kept his team in the game. In the second period Brown stopped a penalty shot, a breakaway and several other chances.

The Rockets fall to 19-22-2-3 heading into a two game weekend. Kelowna will play host to Lethbridge Friday and Vancouver Saturday at Prospera Place.
