Dubuque Fighting Saints News Release

DUBUQUE, Iowa - When the Fighting Saints take to the ice at the Mystique Community Ice Center on Thursday night, they will do so surrounded not only by Fighting Saints fans, but also by the Zombie Hordes of the Key City. Zombieland will be the theme of the night's game, when the Fighting Saints host Team USA at 7:05 p.m. at the Mystique Community Ice Center.

Additionally, high school and college students can receive a $3 discount on tickets to the game by presenting their valid student IDs at the Fighting Saints offices during the week, or at the Mystique Community Ice Center box office on the night of the game.

Fighting Saints fans are encouraged to dress up as zombies for the evening, and the best costumes will be judged during the second period. While the arena's concession stands will be kept clean of brains due to health code regulations, there will be a Jello-mold brain-eating contest during the first intermission. Additionally, there will be a zombie trivia contest and much more, as the music of The Zombies, Rob Zombie, and Kernkraft 400 (specifically their song "Zombie Nation") punctuates the evening.

Tickets to the game are available over the phone at (563) 583-6880 and in person at the Mystique Community Ice Center from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and on game night up until the start of the second period. Tickets are available 24 hours a day online at DubuqueFightingSaints.com. The Fighting Saints also play at home on Saturday, hosting the Indiana Ice at 7:05 pm. It is anticipated that any remnants of the uprising of the undead will be cleared from the building by that time.
