Walleye Get Toews and Reed Back from AHL

(Toledo, OH) - The Toledo Walleye and Head Coach Nick Vitucci announced today that forward Harrison Reed has been released from his player tryout agreement with the Houston Aeros of the AHL and has re-joined the Walleye. In a separate move, forward David Toews has been reassigned to Toledo from Rockford of the AHL.

"It's great to see Harrison and David back with us'" said Head Coach Nick Vitucci. "Both of these guys will bolster our forward lines in the three games this weekend."

Reed appeared in 13 games in his stint with Houston, scoring one goal with three assists. With Toledo this year, Harrison has three goals and seven assists in 11 games. Toews appeared in two games with the IceHogs and did not collect a point. In 24 games this year with Toledo, Toews has two goals and seven assists.
