
McDonald's and Mad Ants Team up to Support Community

Fort Wayne, IN (December 16, 2011) - The Fort Wayne Mad Ants have partnered with McDonald's to present the McDonald's High School Players of the Month. This month McDonald's and the Mad Ants have selected Bryson Scott and Akilah Sims. They will be recognized at the Mad Ants game tonight.
Bryson Scott is a junior at Northrop High School and has verbally committed to play collegiately at Purdue University. He recently broke the Northrop single game scoring record with 46 points against Wayne.
Akilah Sims is a senior at Snider High School. She is a three sport varsity athlete, participating in volleyball, basketball, and track. She has signed a letter of intent to play basketball at IUPUI.
McDonald's and the Mad Ants have also teamed up to help collect pop tabs for The Ronald McDonald House. The Mad Ants will be collecting tabs at every Sunday home game this season. Fans who donate tabs will receive a free treat from McDonalds! Everyone who donates will be entered into a drawing for 2012-2013 Mad Ants season tickets which will be announced at the end of the season. The collection kicks off this Sunday, December 18th as the Mad Ants take on the Springfield Armor in a 6:00pm game at the Memorial Coliseum.
