
Skyforce-Stampede Swap Veteran Guards

Sioux Falls Skyforce News Release
Sioux Falls, S.D. (Dec. 16, 2011) - The Sioux Falls Skyforce announced today that the team has acquired guard Dontell Jefferson from the Idaho Stampede in exchange for guard David Bailey. He is expected to join the team on Monday. The active roster now stands at 10 players.
Jefferson holds NBA Development League career averages of 14.3 points, 4.0 rebounds and 4.7 assists in 163 games with the Dakota Wizards (82), Utah Flash (69) and Idaho Stampede (12). He averaged 4.8 points and 2.0 rebounds in six games with the Charlotte Bobcats in 2008-09. The 6-5, 195-pound guard averaged 8.5 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists in two games to help Dakota claim the 2007 NBA D-League Championship.
