
Foreurs Take Two Points

Moncton Wildcats News Release
The Moncton Wildcats lost tonight 7-3 to the Val D'or Foreurs. The game started with two goals against on the Wildcats powerplay. The Cats got late game goals from two different players in the loss with James Melindy opening it for Moncton and two from Erik Robichaud. Brandon Shea got his first point with an assist on Melindy's goal.
Benjamin Casavant had a hat trick for Val D'or with other goals coming from Guillaume Glinas, Matthieu Thriault, Michael Beaudry and Nicolas Larocque-Marcoux.
The Wildcats outshot the Foreur 31-27. Moncton was 1/7 on the PP while the Foreur were 3/6 on the PP. Attendance at the game was 3055 and three stars were:
1. VDO - 20 Benjamin Casavant
2. VDO - 10 Michael Beaudry
3. VDO - 17 Cdrick Henley
The Wildcats next home game is Saturday September 24th when they host the Halifax Mooseheads at the Moncton Coliseum. Game time is at 7:00PM.
