
Food Drive on for Saturday September 24th

Moncton Wildcats News Release
MONCTON, NB - The Moncton Wildcats have partnered with the Bell Aliant Pioneers to collect food donations for the game against Halifax this Saturday at 7PM.
This will be a healthy food drive with the Pioneers looking to collect:
-Whole wheat pastas
-Brown rice
-Canned fruit (packed in its own juices)
-Canned vegetables
-Canned meats (tuna, salmon, ham, chicken or turkey)
-Canned or dry beans (black, kidney, pinto, navy, garbanzo)
-Peanut butter (plastic jars only, please)
The Pioneers will be a hard crew to miss with bright orange shirts on! The food donations will go to the Food Depot Alimentaire which distributes the food to more than 20 agencies in South Eastern New Brunswick.
"The Wildcats are always interested in supporting the greater community" Says Wildcats General Manager Jeff Rose. "The Wildcats are proud to help support the Pioneers efforts to collect food donations for agencies in South Eastern New Brunswick."
The Bell Aliant Pioneer Volunteers are part of the largest industry-based volunteer organization in the world. They are comprised of nearly 620,000 men and women throughout Canada and the United States who work together to make their communities better places in which to live and work.
The puck drops at 7PM on Saturday September 24th verses the Halifax Mooseheads.
** Members from the Calgary Stampeders Cheerleading squad, The Outriders, will be available on the mezzanine before the game for autographs and pictures. Purchase your tickets in the XL 96FM Fan Zone, Section 5, to win free prizes handed out by our friends from Calgary!
