
Giants Beat Kelowna; Rockets Play PG in Playoffs

The Vancouver Giants defeated the Kelowna Rockets 4-3 Saturday night at Prospera Place in Kelowna.
The Giants held leads of 1-0, 2-1, 3-2 and 4-3 as the Rockets tied the game three different times only to have Vancouver restore a one-goal lead three times.
Geordie Wudrick, with his team leading 43rd goal of the season, Zach Franko with his 22nd and Colton Sissons with his 17th of the season, scored for Kelowna.
Connor Redmond, Spencer Bennett, Luke Fenske and Andrej Stastny scored for the Giants
It was the final game of the WHL regular season for the Rockets. The team will open the WHL playoffs at home next Friday and Saturday against the Prince George Cougars.
The Cougars claimed seventh place in the WHL BC division with two straight wins over Kamloops this weekend.
