Cranbrook, BC - The Kootenay ICE handed out their 13th annual team awards prior to the start of the game against the Lethbridge Hurricanes tonight. Eight different players were recognized for their achievements. The individual winners are listed below:
Rod Hunter Ltd. Players Award - Steele Boomer
Apollo Ristorante Most Valuable Player - Kevin King
Ron Collision / Dixon Service Centre Top Defenseman - Brayden McNabb
Alpine Toyota Rookie of the Year - John Neibrandt
Skyway Distributors Most Improved Player - Joe Antilla
BDO Dunwoody Most Underrated Player - Max Reinhart
East Kootenay Community Credit Union Community Relations Award - Nathan Lieuwen
Rocky Mountain Diesel Scholastic Player of the Year - Nathan Lieuwen
Jewels on Ninth Player of the Month - Matt Fraser
East Kootenay Community Credit Union Community Player of the Month - John Neibrandt
Fan Club's Player of the Year - Kevin King
The Boston Pizza Top Play-off Performer will be announced at the conclusion of the 2010-2011 WHL Playoffs.
