Regina, Saskatchewan ‚¬" The Regina Pats handed out their annual player awards prior to tonight ‚¬â„¢s 3-2 overtime loss to the top team in the WHL, the Saskatoon Blades.

Here were the winners:

Unsung hero-Art Bidlevskii

Hub Bishop Memorial Trophy (Most Sportsmanlike)-Brandon Davidson

Scholastic Player of the Year-Tyler Borstmayer

Bill Hicke Memorial Award (Most Popular)-Garrett Mitchell

M.P. (Mike) Kartusch Memorial Award (Community Involvement)-Garrett Mitchell

Nick Pappas Memorial Award (Rookie of the year)-Matt Hewitt

Charles L Johnston Award (Top Defenceman)-Brandon Davidson

Regina Pats Player of the Year-Jordan Weal

Torchy Schill Top Scorer Award ‚¬" Jordan Weal

With one game remaining in the WHL regular season, the final Molson Cup 3 Stars standings will not change, Jordan Weal was the overall Molson Cup 1st Star for the 2010-11 season with goaltender Matt Hewitt second and goaltender Damien Ketlo third.

The Pats have one more home game for the 2010-11 regular season, that ‚¬â„¢s Saturday night as they make the trek to Saskatoon to play the Blades. It ‚¬â„¢s a 7:05 puck drop with a 6:40 Press Box Sports Bar Pre-game show on 620 CKRM.
