ECHL Announces Fines, Suspensions

January 21, 2011 - ECHL (ECHL)

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL on Friday announced the following fines and suspensions.

Cincinnati's Clackson Suspended

Cincinnati's Chris Clackson has been suspended for one game as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #363, Wheeling at Cincinnati, on Jan. 18.

He is suspended under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.

Clackson will miss Cincinnati's game at Kalamazoo on Jan. 21.

Cincinnati's Olson Fined

Cincinnati's Benn Olson has been fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #363, Wheeling at Cincinnati, on Jan. 18.

Olson is fined under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.

Utah's Kilburg Fined, Suspended

Utah's Brian Kilburg has been suspended for one game and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #366, Utah at Idaho, on Jan. 19.

Kilburg is fined and suspended under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.

Kilburg will miss Utah's game at Idaho on Jan. 21.
