Rio Grande Valley Vipers News Release

MCALLEN, TEXAS - The defending NBA Development League champion Rio Grande Valley Vipers announced Thursday that they have waived guard David Potter (6-5, 210, Clemson) and forward Antoine Tisby (6-9, 236, South Carolina).

Additionally, the Vipers have waived forward Marquis Gilstrap (6-7, 215, Iowa State) due to a knee injury. The Vipers retain Gilstrap's rights and the option to reacquire him once healthy.

The Vipers training camp roster now stands at 14, not including Houston Rockets-assignee Patrick Patterson (6-9, 235, Kentucky), who does not count against the roster limit of 10 that the Vipers must reach before their opening night matchup with the Texas Legends on Thursday, November 18 at 7:00 p.m. at State Farm Arena.
