
Energy Ranked 1st in NBA D-League Preseason Power Poll

Des Moines, IA, Nov. 11, 2010 - The Iowa Energy have yet to play a game this season, but people are already pinning high hopes on the team. This week, the Energy were ranked 1st in the NBA D-League's weekly power ranking poll. The poll is part of a feature on the d-league.com website.
In the rankings, the Energy are described as having "the strongest group of returning players in the league". Iowa returns point guard Curtis Stinson along with former NBA players Othyus Jeffers and Courtney Sims. In addition, the Energy picked up former Oklahoma City Thunder guard Kyle Weaver as an "affiliate player" and selected sharp-shooter Chris Lofton in the 1st round of this month's draft.
Following the Energy in the poll are the Tulsa 66ers, Maine Red Claws, Utah Flash and Texas Legends. The Dakota Wizards, who the Energy play the first three games of the season, are ranked last in the poll.
