Calgary Stampeders News Release
The Calgary Stampeders travel to Regina to take on the Saskatchewan Roughriders on Friday, Sept. 17. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. MDT at Mosaic Stadium.
Friday's game will be the second of three meetings between the clubs this season. The Stamps took the first contest at McMahon Stadium, winning 40-20 on July 24, and the teams will meet a final time on Oct. 17 at Mosaic Stadium.
The Stampeders sit atop the West Division with a record of 9-1 following a 36-20 victory over Edmonton in Week 11. Calgary is riding a seven-game winning streak, the club's longest since the 1995 season when the Stamps had a pair of seven-game winning streaks. The Riders, who sit second in the West with a record of 6-4 following a 31-2 loss to Winnipeg last week, will put their perfect home record (5-0) on the line this week. The Stamps are 4-1 on the road in 2010.
The next home game for the Stamps is on Saturday, Sept. 25 against the BC Lions. It's the annual PinkPower game in support of the Canadian Cancer Society and kickoff is at 7:30 p.m. Tickets
