
Alouettes Sign Ihekwoaba

Montreal, Sept. 15, 2010 -Montreal Alouettes' Vice President and General Manager Jim Popp announced today that non-import defensive end Chima Ihekwoaba has joined the team.
Ihekwoaba (6'04'', 255 lbs) joins the Alouettes after attending training camp with the Detroit Lions. He was selected in the second round, 14th overall, by Montreal in the 2010 CFL Canadian Draft. He recorded 17 tackles and three sacks over two seasons with the Wilfrid Laurier Golden Hawks and played in the 2008 East-West Bowl. He is 24.
