K-Tribe Playoff Tickets on Sale Tuesday

Kinston, NC -The Kinston Indians have clinched a spot in the Carolina League playoffs and will meet the Winston-Salem Dash in the best-of-five Southern Division Championship Series starting on Wednesday night at BB&T Ballpark in Winston. Tickets for games three and four (if necessary) of the series on Friday, Sept. 10th and Saturday, Sept. 11th at Historic Grainger Stadium in Kinston will go on sale on Tuesday at 9 am. On Tuesday morning, the playoff tickets will only be available by calling the K-Tribe office at 252-527-9111 or coming to the office in person. Starting on Wednesday, tickets will also be available for purchase online at www.kinstonindians.com

Ticket prices will stay the same as the regular season, with reserved seats available for just $5 for students, seniors and the military and $6 for everyone else.

The first two games of the series will be on Wednesday and Thursday night, both starting at 7 pm in Winston-Salem. Games three and four (if necessary) will also start at 7 pm and be held on Friday and Saturday in Kinston. Game five (if necessary) will be played at the home of the second half Southern Division Champion, which is still to be determined. If Kinston is hosting game five on Sunday, tickets will also be made available for that game on Tuesday.

The winner of the series will meet the Northern Division Championship Series winner in a best-of-five Mills Cup Championship Series. Should Kinston advance, games one and two of the Championship Series will be played at Grainger Stadium on Monday, Sept. 13 and Tuesday, Sept. 14.

This is the K-Tribe's first playoff appearance since 2007. It will be Kinston's 17th playoff appearance in their 24 seasons as a Cleveland Indians affiliate. The K-Tribe will chase their seventh Carolina League Championship all-time and first since 2004.
