Frederick, MD - Baltimore Orioles right-handed pitcher Jim Johnson will make a rehab appearance with the Frederick Keys that will begin tonight when the Keys host the Winston-Salem Dash at 6:00 p.m. at Harry Grove Stadium.

Johnson, the 2005 Carolina League Pitcher of the Year, has not appeared in a game for Baltimore since April 30th due to right elbow inflammation. He went on the disabled list on May 28th.

A part of the Keys second championship team in 2005, the Orioles fifth round pick in 2001 went 12-9 with a 3.49 ERA. He was the first Key to ever earn the honor as Carolina League Pitcher of the Year. Johnson would make his big league debut in 2006 but did not stick with Baltimore until the 2008 season. Working out of the pen, Johnson worked to a 2.23 ERA in his rookie campaign. He has made 128 appearances out of the Orioles bullpen in the last three years combined.

Playoff Tickets will go on sale Wednesday, August 11th at 9:00 a.m. as the Keys look to claim the fourth Mills Cup in team history. The playoffs begin in Frederick with Game One of the Northern Division Championship Series set for Wednesday, September 8th at 7:00 p.m. For tickets contact the Keys Box Office at 1-877-8-GO-KEYS or purchase online at frederickkeys.com.
