(Memorial Stadium - Boise, ID) - A single off the bat of CF Mitch Levier scored C Daniel Petitti from second base in the top of the 6th inning giving Vancouver enough to get by the Boise Hawks as the Canadians managed a 3-1 win moving to 5-0 on their current 11-game road trip.

For the second straight night, the Hawks would open the scoring in the bottom of the 1st inning when a single from DH Richard Jones scored RF Alvaro Ramirez giving Boise a 1-0 lead.

The Canadians would tie the game at 1-1 in the top of the 2nd inning when 1B A.J. Kirby-Jones hit his team leading 6th home run of the summer over the right field fence at Boise Memorial Stadium.

Vancouver would grab their first lead of the night in the top of the 6th inning scoring a pair of runs off of Boise reliever LHP Eric Jokisch. Canadians C Daniel Petitti reached on a Fielder's Choice and later scored on an RBI single off the bat of CF Mitch Levier giving the C's a 2-1 lead. Levier would come around to count on a hard hit single to right field off the bat of SS Wade Kirkland helping the C's to a 3-1 lead.

Once again, the Canadians bullpen was outstanding as LHP Ryan Quigley, RHP Kyle Christensen, RHP Dan Tenholder and RHP A.J. Griffin would combine to hold the Hawks off the score sheet over the final eight innings with Griffin managing his team leading sixth save of the season in six opportunities.

With the victory, Vancouver moves to 2-0 (1.000) on the second half of the Northwest League season and extends their current winning streak to five games, all on the road dating back to July 24th.
