
Stamps Earn Player of the Week Honours

The Calgary Stampeders are pleased to announce that import receiver Romby Bryant and non-import running back Jon Cornish have been honoured by the Canadian Football League for their efforts in Week 4. Bryant was named offensive player of the week while Cornish earned the Canadian player of the week nod.
Bryant led all Stamps' receivers with seven catches for 116 yards and two touchdowns in Saturday's win over Saskatchewan. He currently leads all Calgary pass-catchers with 327 receiving yards on 21 grabs and is tied for the league lead with four touchdowns.
Cornish rushed the ball five times for 77 yards and caught one pass for 20 yards in Week 4 action. He has rushed for 97 yards on 11 carries and caught three passes for 39 yards through four games this season.
The Stampeders received player-of-the-week recognition on seven occasions in 2009. Bryant and Cornish are the first Stamps players to receive the honour in 2010.
The Stamps next game is this Saturday, July 31 when they host the Winnipeg Blue Bombers at McMahon Stadium (local blackout will be in effect).
