Ports Host Go Green Night, Faith Night in Upcoming Homestands

STOCKTON, Calif.-The Ports welcome the Lake Elsinore Storm (July 27-29), Modesto Nuts (July 30-August 1) and High Desert Mavericks (August 6-8) in their next nine home games. All games except the two Sunday home games on August 1 and 8 will start at 7:05 p.m. The Sunday games will begin at 6:05 p.m. Gates will open to the general public one hour before the scheduled start time. Fans are encouraged to attend these games and cheer on the Ports as they make a run for the playoffs.

The Ports are proud to present their fans with several exciting promotions and giveaways for these homestands.

Fun & Entertainment:

Two-for-Tuesdays: The Ports have two great Two-for-Tuesday deals available to their fans for July 27, courtesy of Wienerschnitzel and KRAFT Singles. Fans can buy 1 Field Box or MVP ticket, get 1 free with a coupon from a local Wienerschnitzel restaurant. Fans can also Buy 1 Ticket, Get 1 Free from KRAFT Singles with purchase. Bring your KRAFT Singles package wrapper to a Ports home game on Tuesdays for a steal of a deal! Fans can also enjoy $2 tacos and $2 sodas from the Tecate Cantina inside Banner Island Ballpark.

Web Wednesdays: The Stockton Ports are proud to present their fans with special offers on www.stocktonports.com as well as on Facebook and Twitter for discounted tickets, merchandise and more for Wednesday home games! The Ports are also excited to offer their Silver Slugger Wednesdays, presented by SCAN Health Plan, and 99.3 KJOY. SCAN HP Silver Slugger members receive a free ticket to every Wednesday home game. Also on Wednesdays, fans can play Baseball Bingo, sponsored by Food 4 Less/Rancho San Miguel. All fans get to play Baseball Bingo for a chance to win $100 in gift certificates to Food 4 Less/Rancho San Miguel along with other great prizes.

Thirsty Thursday: The Ports will host another Thirsty Thursday on July 29, sponsored by 97.7 & 98.3 KWIN. Fans can enjoy 16 oz. domestic beer and sodas for just $2 until 8:00 p.m. while watching Thursday's game against the Lake Elsinore Storm.

Go Green Night: The Stockton Ports are excited to support the environment by hosting a Go Green Night, sponsored by KAT Country 103 on Friday, July 30. Fans can learn more about eco-friendly solutions and businesses on the concourse during the game. The first 1,000 fans into the game also receive a Ports Wristband Set giveaway, sponsored by 97.7 & 98.3 KWIN. The game that evening will also be televised live regionally on Comcast Hometown Network, Channel 104 for Comcast customers. Fans can also take advantage of the new 4 for $44 Fridays deal, which includes 4 field box tickets, and $20 in ballpark currency for just $44 (a $56 value!).

Saturday in the Park: The Ports are excited to host a spectacular post-game fireworks show, presented by Food 4 Less/Rancho San Miguel on Saturday, July 31, following the game against Modesto. The game that evening will also be televised live regionally on Comcast Hometown Network, Channel 104 for Comcast customers. The Ports are excited to host an art auction during the game on Saturday. Autographed portraits of Ports players and coaches drawn by members of JLI Academy will be auctioned during the game. A portion of the proceeds benefit JLI Academy.

Sunday Fun: The first 1,000 fans into the game on Sunday, August 1, receive a Ports Frisbee giveaway, presented by Valley Air District. Fans can visit Metro PCS located in the College Square shopping center on March Ln. and Pershing Ave. to get a voucher for a $1 Home Run Hill ticket to any Sunday home game (excluding July 4). Sundays also feature the Everyday Eddie's Kids Club, presented by Subway. Subway Kids Club members receive a free ticket to every Sunday home game (excluding July 4), and all kids can run the bases like their favorite Ports players after the game! Stay Warm with a Fleece Blanket: The Ports are back in town after a quick road trip to San Jose on Friday, August 6. The first 1,000 fans into the 7:05 PM game will receive a Ports Fleece Blanket, sponsored by KAT Country 103. Fans can also take advantage of the new 4 for $44 Fridays deal, which includes 4 field box tickets, and $20 in ballpark currency for just $44 (a $56 value!).

Faith Night with Grant Desme Bobblehead: The Ports are excited to host their annual Faith Night on Saturday, August 7. Gates will open early for fans to enjoy pre-game music and pre-game player testimonials. Team chaplains will also be on hand to deliver their testimonials. The first 1,000 fans will receive a Grant Desme bobblehead. Desme was named the 2009 Ports Player of the Year, and was also named the 2009 Arizona Fall League Most Valuable Player. Desme was also a non-roster invitee to the Oakland A's 2010 Spring Training Camp before retiring from baseball to answer the calling to the priesthood.

On the Television: The Ports will have 20 home games televised regionally on Comcast Hometown Network (Channel 104 for Comcast customers) throughout the season. Ports broadcaster Zack Bayrouty will be on the air calling the play-by-play for the Ports, while Dan Dibley of KNBR will be the color analyst. On the Radio: Every Ports game can be heard on KWSX 1280 AM, the home of the Stockton Ports, this season. Zack Bayrouty, the Voice of the Ports, will be calling the play-by-play for his fourth season this year with Curtis Bryant. Fans can also hear his radio broadcasts online at www.stocktonports.com as part of the free audio streaming feature.

The ticket prices for the 2010 season are listed below. Fans can purchase single game tickets at a discounted price in advance at the box office or anytime at the official Stockton Ports website. All ticket sales through the Ports website at www.stocktonports.com are considered advanced sales. Fans that purchase tickets on the day of the game pay full price.

The ticket office at the stadium will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday during the preseason and on non-game days. During the season on Monday through Friday game days, the office will be open from 9 a.m. until the end of the game. On weekend game days, the office will be open from 10 a.m. until the end of the game.
