Game #11 / Road Game #5 RHP Zack Von Rosenberg (0-2, 6.75) vs. RHP Adam Veres (0-0, 4.15) * -SPIKES LOOK TO EXTEND STREAK:* The State College Spikes continue their first road trip of the season tonight as they face the Jamestown Jammers for the first of three games at Russell Diethrick Park. The Spikes are now .500 the first time this season, and looking to string together four wins in a row for the first time since July 2-5, 2009. Last week, State College and Jamestown split a pair of games at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park.

-*LAST GAME: Chase Lyles *knocked in the go-ahead run in the top of the tenth, and the State College Spikes battled back to win their first extra-inning game of the season over the Batavia Muckdogs, 4-2, at Dwyer Stadium in a Sunday afternoon matchup. Lyles's single allowed him to rack up his team-leading ninth RBI of the year. *Kelson Brown* then brought in Santos with a fielder's choice to finish the Spikes' scoring. *Jhonathan Ramo*s earned the victory by holding Batavia without a baserunner in the ninth and tenth innings. Ramos also finished with three of the Spikes' team-high ten strikeouts in the game. Starter *Tyler Waldron* had three as well, while *Zac Fuesser* finished with four K's.

-*VON ROSENBERG HEADS BACK TO HILL FOR SPIKES:* Right-hander *Zack Von Rosenberg* looks for his first victory as a professional today as he gets the ball for State College. Over his first two starts of the season, Von Rosenberg has struck out three and walked on in eight innings of work. The Zachary, LA native will be facing his third different opponent this season after starting against Williamsport and Batavia so far this year. In both of his first two outings, Von Rosenberg has gone exactly four innings.

*-VERES GETS THE NOD FOR JAMESTOWN: *The Jammers will also have a right-hander on the mound tonight as *Adam Veres* makes his second start of the season. Veres has taken on Mahoning Valley and Williamsport in his first two starts, striking out eight and walking two in 8.2 innings. Right-handed hitters have hit .250 against Veres so far, but lefties have a .417 average. The 22-year-old was signed by the Marlins organization in the offseason after two years in the Cardinals system. Veres went 1-1 with a 4.35 ERA in six games for Batavia in '08.
