Calgary Stampeders News Release

Calgary Stampeders head coach and general manager John Hufnagel is pleased to announce the signings of their 2010 sixth-round draft pick, offensive lineman Oamo Culbreath, and non-import running back Matt Henry. As per team policy, terms of the agreements were not disclosed.

Culbreath was selected by Calgary in the sixth round (46th overall) of the 2010 CFL Canadian Draft. The six-foot-five, 300-pounder attended the University of British Columbia, where he was a three-year starter and played both guard and centre.

Henry spent four years with the Manitoba Bisons and rushed for 2,533 yards on 482 carries, putting him second all-time in Bisons history in both categories. Henry was named team captain for both the 2008 and 2009 seasons and represented the Bisons as a Canada West conference all-star in 2007. He was a part of the 2007 Bisons team that went 12-0 en route to capturing the Vanier Cup.
