
Hitmen Grab 3-0 Lead In Western Hockey League Championship Series

Calgary, AB - Martin Jones made 29 saves in a first star performance as the Calgary Hitmen beat the Tri-City Americans 4-1 Tuesday night in Kennewick, Washington.
The victory gives Calgary a 3-0 lead in the best-of-seven Western Hockey League Championship series.
Kris Foucault, Michael Stone, Cody Sylvester all scored first period goals as Calgary built a 3-0 lead after twenty minutes.
Ian Schultz added an empty net goal for Calgary in the final minute while Giffen Nyren chipped in a pair of assists for the Hitmen.
The series resumes tonight (Wednesday) with Game 4 in Kennewick.
Game 5, if necessary, would be played back in Calgary on Friday night (7pm) at the Pengrowth Saddledome.
