Monarchs Advance To Division Finals

MANCHESTER, NH - The Manchester Monarchs, the primary affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings, have advanced to the 2010 Calder Cup Atlantic Division Finals with their 7-2 win over the Portland Pirates on Tuesday night, Monarchs President Darren Abbott announced today.

2010 Calder Cup playoff tickets for the second and third rounds (up to eight games) for the Monarchs are on sale now at the Verizon Wireless Arena box office and online at Ticketmaster by calling (800) 745-3000 or by visiting Ticketmaster on-line at www.ticketmaster.com. The Monarchs win over the Pirates on Tuesday advanced them to the Calder Cup Division Finals for only the second time in franchise history. With the Worcester Sharks leading the Lowell Devils 3-1 in their series, the Monarchs opponent for the 2010 Calder Cup Atlantic Division Finals is undetermined.

Fans may also purchase playoff tickets at all Ticketmaster locations, including the Customer Service Desk at the Mall of New Hampshire. Once the Monarchs opponent for the 2010 Calder Cup Atlantic Division Finals is determined, fans can purchase tickets online at www.manchestermonarchs.com.

Individual ticket prices for the second round of the playoffs are $23.00 for adults in the Gold level and $17.00 for adults in the Silver level of the Verizon Wireless Arena, $21.00 for seniors (65 and older) in the Gold level and $15.00 for seniors in the Silver level and $13.00 for youth tickets (12 and under) in both levels. Fans can take part in the Pay As We Play program and receive their tickets at a discounted rate for each home game, through the second and third rounds (up to eight total games) with no payment up front. The Monarchs will only charge a fan's credit card on the day of each home game during rounds two and three. Fans pay only when the Monarchs play!

The Monarchs will rest up while the Sharks and Devils battle for the other Atlantic Division playoff berth against Manchester.
