Daily Value Promotions, 13 Fireworks Dates Headline Spikes 2010 Promo Calendar

STATE COLLEGE - Central Pennsylvania's Best Family Value, the State College Spikes, will once again offer fans a daily menu of money-saving promotions and an impressive schedule of family-friendly post-game fireworks shows throughout the upcoming 2010 season at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park, the club announced today.

Due to overwhelming fan popularity when debuted last season, the Spikes are bringing back their "Daily Fan Value Promotional Schedule", which includes Dollar Dog Mondays presented by 95.3 FM 3WZ, Buck Bleacher Tuesdays, Half Price Wednesdays, Kids Eat Free Thursdays presented by Dairy Queen Grill & Chill, 4 for $44 Fridays, Scratch 'n Win Saturdays and Summer Blast-Off Sundays.

. Dollar Dog Mondays presented by 95.3 FM 3WZ (June 21, July 5, July 12, Aug. 9, Aug. 23)

Fans can feast $1 hot dogs all game long, presented by the radio home of the Spikes, 95.3 FM 3WZ.

. Buck Bleacher Tuesdays (June 22, July 6, July 13, July 20)

Fans can take advantage of $1 Outfield Bleacher tickets. Each Tuesday game (excluding July 13) is also "Going Green Tuesday", featuring a fan giveaway item made from eco-friendly or recycled materials.

. Half Price Wednesdays (June 23, July 21, July 28, Aug. 4, Aug. 18, Sept. 1)

Outfield Bleacher tickets can be purchased for half price ($3), and fans can quench their thirst with half-price specials on select beers and medium sodas. Drink specials are valid from one hour prior to game time through one hour into the game.

. Kids Eat Free Thursdays presented by Dairy Queen Grill & Chill (June 24, July 22, Aug. 5, Aug. 19, Sept. 2)

All kids 12 and under will receive a voucher good for a free hot dog, chips and soda, presented by Dairy Queen Grill & Chill.

. 4 for $44 Fridays (June 25, July 2, July 23, July 30, Aug. 6, Aug. 20, Aug. 27)

Fans can purchase a special package of four Diamond Club seats, four small sodas and four hot dogs for just $44 (a $63 value). Additional seat packages are just $11 each.

. Scratch 'n Win Saturdays (June 19, July 24, Aug. 7, Aug. 21, Aug. 28)

Every fan entering the ballpark will receive a scratch-off card with great deals and prizes. Each card is a winner.

. Summer Blast-Off Sundays (July 4, July 11, Aug. 8, Aug. 22, Sept. 5)

Fans will be wowed by the post-game fireworks display following every Spikes' Sunday home game.

Fireworks will not only accompany each Sunday home game at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park, but, in total, over one-third of the Spikes' 38 home games will feature a spectacular post-game fireworks show, including the Sunday, July 4 game which will be part of the early-day activities surrounding the nationally-acclaimed Central PA 4th Fest celebration.

. Friday, June 25 vs. Jamestown (7:05 p.m.) presented by PA Lottery

. Friday, July 2 vs. Williamsport (7:05 p.m.) presented by Central PA Convention & Visitor's Bureau

. Sunday, July 4 vs. Hudson Valley (1 p.m.) - Central PA 4th Fest Fireworks at 9 p.m.

. Tuesday, July 6 vs. Hudson Valley (7:05 p.m.)

. Sunday, July 11 vs. Vermont (6:05 p.m.)

. Thursday, July 22 vs. Auburn (7:05 p.m.) presented by visitmyrtlebeach.com

. Friday, July 30 vs. Williamsport (7:05 p.m.)

. Friday, August 6 vs. Staten Island (7:05 p.m.)

. Sunday, August 8 vs. Tri-City (6:05 p.m.) presented by T&B Medical

. Friday, August 20 vs. Jamestown (7:05 p.m.) presented by 95.3 FM 3WZ

. Sunday, August 22 vs. Mahoning Valley (6:05 p.m.) presented by Snyder's of Hanover

The Spikes fifth season of providing Central Pennsylvania's Best Family Value will return Saturday, June 19 at 7:05 p.m. against the rival Williamsport Crosscutters.
