Connecticut Tigers Season Tickets Now On Sale

Norwich, CT - The Connecticut Tigers Baseball Club of the New York-Penn League announce season tickets for the 2010 regular season are now on sale.

Pricing for the 37 home game season ticket package is $325 per seat for premium level and $250 per seat for reserved and handicapped seating. These prices represent a savings of over 10% off walk-up ticket prices.

Benefits included with season ticket purchase are: free V.I.P. parking, use of the season ticket holder gate to avoid lines, free use of seating inside 'The Yard' Bar and Grill (pending availability), 10% discount in the Tigers Gift Shop, a preseason meet and greet BBQ with players and coaches, invitation to the Season Ticket Holder Batting Practice. Season ticket holders will also have first right of refusal for playoff tickets, and the ability to exchange unused tickets for a ticket of equal or lesser value to any 2010 regular season game, subject to availability.

In addition, season ticket holders will have the first chance to be a part of a bus trip to Cooperstown, NY for the Hall of Fame Game Saturday July 24, 2010 vs. the Tri-City ValleyCats at Doubleday Field.

The Tigers ticket office is open 9 A.M. until 5 P.M. Monday through Friday at Dodd Stadium. In addition, tickets can be purchased over the phone at (860) 887-7962. For further ticketing information, visit the Tigers website at www.cttigers.com.

The Tigers are the Class-A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers and begin play in the New York- Penn League in 2010 after re-locating to Norwich from Oneonta, New York after 44 seasons. The Tigers' home opener at Dodd Stadium will be June 26th at 7:05 P.M. against the Vermont Lake Monsters (Class-A affiliate of the Washington Nationals). The New-York Penn League is a short season Single-A league with 14 teams that play 76 games per year. Total attendance for the New York-Penn League in 2009 was 1,786,735.
