Greg Scott Recalled To Marlies

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League and the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League, today announced that forward Greg Scott has been re-called to the Marlies from Reading. Scott, a first year pro from Victoria, British Columbia, played in the first two games of the Royals' best-of-five American Conference Quarter-Final matchup against the Kalamazoo Wings. In Game Two, he assisted on the Marc Cavosie's goal, which proved to be the game winner in Reading's 4-1 victory over the K-Wings on Wednesday in Kalamazoo. Scott played five regular season games with the Royals and scored one goal, assisted on one other (two points) and registered six penalty minutes. In sixty-eight games with the Marlies, Scott has scored ten goals, assisted on twenty others (thirty points) and picked up twenty-six penalty minutes.

The Royals return to Sovereign Center in Reading, Pennsylvania for Game Three of the American Conference Quarter-Final Series against the Kalamazoo Wings tonight (Friday, April 9 @ 7:05 pm) at the Sovereign Center. The Royals game night broadcast on the Royals Radio Network presented by Transmissions by Arbogast will begin at 6:35 pm.
