
'Topes To Honor Lobo Men's Hoops Team Before Home Opener

The Albuquerque Isotopes will pay tribute to the outstanding season enjoyed by the University of New Mexico's men's basketball team before the 'Topes home opener on Monday, April 12 at 6:35 PM.
The entire team will be recognized on the field before the game and head coach Steve Alford will throw out a ceremonial first pitch.
This past season, the Lobos set a school record for wins after posting a 30-5 record and advanced to the second-round of the NCAA tournament for the first time since 1999.
Alford, who is in just his third season at the helm of the Lobos, was recognized as Mountain West Conference Coach of the Year for the second straight time after leading his team to a regular-season conference crown, UNM's first outright conference title since 1999.
The Isotopes will open their home schedule on April 12 with the first of an eight-game homestand. Tickets are currently available at the Isotopes Park Box Office, Ticketmaster Outlets, Ticketmaster by phone at 800-745-3000 or on-line at www.albuquerquebaseball.com .
