OKLAHOMA CITY, March 9, 2010 - Oklahoma City Thunder Executive Vice President and General Manager Sam Presti announced today that the team has recalled forward DJ White from the Tulsa 66ers of the NBA Development League.
During his most recent stint White appeared in four games (all starts) with the 66ers, averaging 23.0 points while shooting 58.7% from the field (37-63 FG), 11.0 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.3 blocks and 1.0 steals in 40.0 minutes per game. The 6-9 forward scored 20 or more points three times and notched three double-doubles.
Overall, White has seen action in 10 games (10 starts) with Tulsa, averaging 20.2 points on 60.9% shooting from the floor (84-138 FG), 11.1 rebounds, 1.4 blocks and 1.2 assists in 39.2 minutes per contest. This season, he has played in eight games with Oklahoma City averaging 4.8 points and 1.9 rebounds in 9.1 minutes.
