Gogol Suspended Three Games

Saskatoon Blades forward Curt Gogol (Calgary, AB) has been suspended three games by the Western Hockey League for an incident on March 7th versus the Calgary Hitmen.

The incident occurred early in the third period when the 18-year-old went after Calgary defenseman Zak Stebner. Gogol received a 5-minute major for fighting and a game misconduct on the play.

Gogol, acquired by the Blades from the Kelowna Rockets at the trade deadline, has played in 7 games in a Blades' uniform and has one goal and 20 penalty minutes. For the season, the 6'0", 178-pounder has played in 42 games and has 1 goal and 6 assists for 7 points to go along with 140 penalty minutes.
