The Lowdown
This has been yet another great series between the Pats and Broncos with the blue and white having 4-2-0-1 record over the first 7 meetings. The two hooked up just a couple of nights ago with the Pats coming back from a 2-0 deficit, to take a 4-3 lead in the 3rd only to see the Broncos score 3 straight times for the 6-4 win.
Bronco Bucks:
The Broncos are currently holding down the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference by five points over the Prince Albert Raiders and have a 9 point edge on the Regina Pats. They are on a 3 game winnings streak.
Who's who: The Broncos are led by one of the most dynamic goal scorers in the WHL in Cody Eakin, he leads the Broncos with 43 goals and is tops in points with 80

The Pats have three defencemen in the team's top ten. Colten Teubert leads with 38 points; Brandon Davidson has 31 and Cody Carlson has 30.
Race for the Goal Title:
Jordan Eberle is currently 2nd in the WHL goal scoring with 45. Spokane Chief forward, Kyle Beach is tops in the league with 48 while the Broncos Cody Eakin is 3rd with 43. Eberle is currently in a tie for second with the Chiefs Justin Feser, in power play goals with 17, two back of the Hitmen's Joel Broda
Race for the Assist Title:
17 year old forward, Jordan Weal is currently 2nd in the WHL's assist race with 61, trailing Calgary's Brandon Kozun by 2 helpers.
Rookie Scoring Race:
18 year old rookie defenceman, Brandon Davidson is the team leader in rookie points with 31. Hampus Gustafsson is right behind him right now with 25, and is the top rookie goal getter with 11.
1st Shutout of the season:
Dawson Guhle's 19 save shutout in Saskatoon Saturday night was his first ever career blanking, but it was also the first Pats shutout in over a year. Linden Rowat was the last one to do it back on January 11th, 2009 in a 3-0 effort over the Edmonton Oil Kings.
Next Action:
The blue and white are back on the ice tomorrow Friday night at the Brandt Centre as they host Linden Rowat and the Lethbridge Hurricanes. It's a 7:00 puck drop with the action getting started with the pre-game show on 620 CKRM at 6:35.
