NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, Texas (February 18)- The Texas Brahmas have a busy weekend ahead with three games in three days, but it won't be just the action on the ice that will keep fans in the purple and black busy.
On Friday the Brahmas host the Wichita Thunder at the NYTEX Sports Centre for a 7:05 PM faceoff. The last time these two teams battled it out, Texas' rookie goaltender Joe Palmer recorded his second career shutout with a 2-0 victory. Saturday night the Brahmas take on the Southern Conference leaders, Odessa Jackalopes, at 7:05 PM. This season it has been forward Matt Burto who has been a thorn in the Jacks side as he has 5 points (2 G, 3 A) in three games against Odessa. Marking the occasion will be the Brahmas donning special Reliant Energy jerseys; immediately after the game the game worn jerseys will be auctioned to the fans in the stands directly behind the Brahmas bench. On Sunday, Texas hits the road for a 5:05 PM game in Wichita, fans can catch all the live action on CHL-TV.

KINNUNEN CALLED UP
Brahmas defenseman Justin Kinnunen was called up by the San Antonio Rampage (AHL) Thursday afternoon. Kinnunen has 19 points (5 G, 14 A) in 40 games and is a +12 for Texas this season. Last year Kinnunen played 11 games with the Rampage.
BRAHMAS HOST GOLF TOURNAMENT NEXT MONTH
Fresh off the ice the Brahmas players and coaches will hit the greens as the Brahmas Spring Invitational is scheduled for Sunday, March 7 at Iron Horse Golf Tournament in North Richland Hills for a 1 PM shotgun start.
