Jacks Make Series Of Roster Moves

(Odessa, TX) - The Odessa Jackalopes of the Central Hockey League announced three roster moves today signing defenseman, Will Bodine, and placing Jean Bourbeau and Dave Van Drunen on the 14-day IR.

Bodine is a 6'4", 225-pound blueliner who spent the first portion of the season with the Rapid City Rush, appearing in 16 games and accumulating 75 penalty minutes. This is currently his fifth professional season and second in the CHL. He played 62 games for the Mississippi RiverKings in 2006-07, recording a goal and four assists. He will travel with the team to Amarillo and Texas this weekend. Bodine will wear #22 on his uniform.

Bourbeau had appeared in every game so far this season for the Jackalopes scoring 21 points (12 goals, nine assists).

Van Drunen had worked 44 games defensively for the Jackalopes this year adding a pair of goals and 10 assists for 12 points.

The Jackalopes continue their road trip this weekend against the Amarillo Gorillas on Friday and the Texas Brahmas on Saturday. Both games start at 7:05 PM Central time. The action can be heard on 102.1 Jack FM.

The Odessa Jackalopes are the Central Hockey League affiliate for the NHL's New York Islanders and the AHL's Bridgeport Sound Tigers.
