Rivermen Jersey Auction February 13

February 4, 2010 - American Hockey League (AHL)
Peoria Rivermen News Release

PEORIA, Ill. (February 4, 2009) - The Peoria Rivermen will be hosting their second, of three, jersey auctions on Feb. 13 following their game with the San Antonio Rampage. All of the money raised by the auction will be donated to Children's Hospital of Illinois.

The Rivermen will wear their version of the St. Louis Blues "third" jersey that was ranked the No. 2 third jersey in the NHL by Sports Illustrated. The jersey features navy blue as its base color behind a new logo incorporating the time-honored BlueNote and the Gateway Arch. A white draw string rests at the base of the collar, adding to its vintage look. In place of the navy BlueNotes that traditionally appear on the shoulders, a Rivermen logo will be placed along with bold white numbers on the back and sleeves.

The game will also feature an appearance by Nathan Kress, who plays "Freddie Benson" on Nickelodeon's iCarly. He will sign free autographs from 6:30-9:30 p.m. Also the first 2,500 fans will receive Rivermen hat courtesy of OSF St. Francis Medical Center and Children's Hospital of Illinois.

The final jersey auction of the year will be held on March 27, when the Rivermen wear Peoria Prancers jersey to celebrate History of Hockey Night.

Tickets are available at the Rivermen office, located inside the Peoria Civic Center, by calling 309-680-3811 and online through www.rivermen.net/tickets.
