Toronto FC News Release
Toronto FC announced Thursday, defender Marvell Wynne has been named to the final roster for the U.S. MNT squad that will gather in Los Angeles for a 10 day camp at the Home Depot Center beginning Wednesday, February 10. At the completion of this camp the Americans will face El Salvador at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Florida in a 7 p.m. ET kick off. The match is set for Wednesday, February 24, with players returning to their respective clubs the following day. The 23 man roster selected by head coach Bob Bradley is comprised entirely of MLS players.
Wynne was a member of the U.S. team in late January for their first camp of 2010 and played a full 90 minutes in the team's 3-1 defeat to Honduras on January 25 in Los Angeles. He'll be looking to earn his 4th cap with the team if he sees action.
The next scheduled game for the U.S squad is March 3 against the Netherlands in Amsterdam. This will be the final game before the team plays their first match at the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa.
