Buccaneers To Honor Shawn Johnson With Collectible Bobblehead Giveaway

URBANDALE, IOWA - The Des Moines Buccaneers are proud to announce that they will be honoring Olympic Gold Medalist Shawn Johnson with a collectible bobblehead giveaway in her likeness on Saturday, February 20th when the Buccaneers host the Tri-City Storm. The first 1,000 fans through the gates will receive this limited edition bobblehead sponsored by Coca-Cola & Texas Roadhouse.
The bobblehead portrays the Olympic Gold Medalist in a red leotard, donning a Buccaneer's 30-year anniversary logo, standing atop a replica of her 2008 gold medal from the Beijing Olympic Games.
Shawn will be the guest of honor at the Bucs game that evening and will drop the puck just prior to the scheduled 7:05 p.m. start. Fans are encouraged to arrive early; as the first 1,000 fans will be given a certificate that can be exchanged that evening for the limited edition bobblehead.

A limited number of special ticket packages that guarantee a Shawn Johnson bobblehead can also be purchased by calling the Buccaneer Arena ticket office at 278-BUCS.
