Hamilton Tiger-Cats News Release
Hamilton, Ontario - The Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced today that the team has signed non-import safety Sandy Beveridge and non-import linebacker Yannick Carter to new contracts.
"We're excited to extend the contracts of two valuable Canadian players," said General Manager Bob O'Billovich.
"Last season, Sandy provided us with solid play at safety and on special teams, while Yannick continued to show that he's one of the better special teams players in the league."
Beveridge, a 6-2, 214-pound native of Port Coquitlam, British Columbia recorded a career-high 41 defensive tackles last season in addition to his four special teams tackles, two interceptions and one quarterback sack.
