The Owen Sound Attack and local charities have given fans even more reason to be in the giving spirit on December 12th when Metro Foods presents the Attack vs. Doug Gilmour and the Kingston Frontenacs. December 12th marks the Attack's annual Grey Motors Teddy Bear Toss for the Owen Sound Fire Department. Last year, Attack fans contributed more than 1000 bears on Teddy Bear Toss night for the Owen Sound Fire Department. When the Attack scores their first goal, fans are encouraged to litter the ice with Bears!The Bull 94.5 will also be holding their annual Christmas "Bull Christmas Trough". Fans are encouraged to drop off non-perishable food items for a chance to win great prizes on their way in! Last year the Bull collected over 3300 lbs of food along with over $500.00 in cash donations.
December 12th also marks the return of former Attack standout goaltender Tyler Beskorowany and forward Michael Farrell who will play their first game back in Owen Sound. Farrell was released during the 2008/2009 season while Beskorowany was dealt in exchange for forward Bobby Mignardi.
Fans are also encouraged to stay for the Shoppers Drug Mart team Autograph session immediately following the game.
