Celebrate the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Torch Relay

Mark your calendars for two very special events. On Friday, December 18th at 7:30pm the Kitchener Rangers will host a puck-dropping ceremony in celebration of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Torch Relay.

The event will feature a number of guests including several torchbearers selected by Coca-Cola and RBC who will carry the Olympic Flame as it passes through our community.

Kitchener will officially welcome the Olympic Flame on December 27th.

A celebration from 6-8pm at Kitchener City Hall, 200 King Street West is being planned featuring live entertainment,special guests and a cauldron lighting ceremony. Come out and the join millions of other Canadians in celebration of the Olympic Flame's journey to the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games.

These are two exciting events that you won't want to miss. And don't forget to purchase your Vancouver 2010 Red Mittens and support Canadian Olympic athletes!
