Saltdogs To Hold Holiday Open House In December

LINCOLN, NE - The Lincoln Saltdogs' sixth annual Holiday Open House will be held on Saturday, December 12, in the team's offices and gift shop at Haymarket Park. The event runs from 8am to noon, giving Saltdogs fans the chance to have a little holiday fun as they do their holiday shopping.
The highlight of the open house is the annual appearance of Homer Claus! Kids and adults alike can bring their own cameras and get their pictures taken with Homer Claus. Homer will also sign autographs. In addition, fans can get pictures taken with the American Association championship trophy, which will be on display, and can enjoy coffee, hot chocolate and a variety of holiday treats as well.
Of course, the Saltdogs Shop will be open for holiday shopping, with a wide selection of brand-new Saltdogs championship merchandise available, including hats, T-shirts, long-sleeve shirts, hooded sweatshirts and customized championship bats. The team store has a variety of other new merchandise in stock as well, and if you're not sure what the Saltdogs fan on your list wants, Saltdogs Gift Cards are good for both merchandise and tickets.
In addition, our friendly Saltdogs ticket staff will be on hand to assist anyone interested in purchasing a 2010 ticket package, which makes a great gift as well. One great new option is the Tenth Season Ten-Pack, which allows fans to purchase ten lower-reserved ticket vouchers for just $110. The vouchers can be redeemed for any regular-season home date on the 2010 schedule, based on availability, and may be used in any combination. Full-season, half-season and quarter-season ticket packages are on sale as well.
Fans who stop by the open house can also take advantage of a special one-day opportunity: with any purchase of a NEW Saltdogs ticket package, or any merchandise purchase of $100 or more, fans will receive a FREE Saltdogs Game-Worn Helmet! These helmets were used in actual games over the past few seasons by Saltdogs players. This offer is good ONLY during the holiday open house, and only while supplies last.
