Toronto, ON- The Ontario Hockey League has announced that Majors goaltender Chris Carrozzi has been named the OHL Goaltender of the Month.Carrozzi closed the month of October with a 6-1-0-0 record. His goals-against-average was the lowest in the league at 1.76 and save percentage sits at an impressive.935, with two shutouts during the month.
Currently, Carrozzi is the only goaltender in the OHL with a goals-against-average below 2.00 this season. The 19-year old Nepean, ON native is in his fourth season with the Majors; and was drafted in the sixth round of the 2008 NHL Entry Draft by the Atlanta Thrashers.
