The Mississauga St. Michael's Majors have acquired T.J. Battani from the Soo Greyhounds in exchange for a sixth round pick in the 2010 OHL Priority Selection.Battani, 20, has appeared in 15 games with the Greyhounds this season, registering 5 goals and 3 assists for 8 points. The 6'1", 202 lb., right winger began his Ontario Hockey League career with the Windsor Spitfires and has also seen action with the Barrie Colts and Kitchener Rangers. Over the course of his career, Battani has appeared in 193 games, compiling 37 goals, 44 assists and 81 points. He is in his fifth OHL season and will occupy the third overage spot on the Majors roster.
